Flames of War: Glueing Panther A and Panzer IV

Hi again.. after a couple of days without posts it is time today to come up with different things I started lately and either finished or still am working on.

As you could see from my last post on Flames of War I still had a couple of Panther A and Panzer IV at my place which I glued by now and basecoated black. Still waiting for the decals to arrive...

Here we go with the two options... at present I like the Panther A more as it looks like what I think is a tank and not that "gaming" toy of a Panzer IV :)

Flames of War Army

After this small force I have finished by now I am looking forward to paint and base the rest of my troops... Still to go are:

That includes 1 SS Panzergrenadier Company, 1 Panther A, 1 Panzer IV H and Character "Oberstleutnant Dr. Franz Bäke" with Panther A

As ebay is a fantastic resource I also am eagerly waiting for these models to arrive at my place:

Still on the "opponents" side there are only the 3 Sherman tanks from the US which were included in the starter box.

Today was a fantastic day if it comes along Flames of War Armys.

Won a couple of ebay auctions so that my current army raisesits forces:

After a couple of days I am nearly finished... basing went quite well for the "Haubitzen" and finally also they are "shining" with their new paint. Finishing touches on the infantry ..

Flames of War: Still SS Heavy Artillery

Finally glueing seems nearly completed. Had serious troubles , even with the help of superglue to let them stick in that upright position.Finally basecoated them and did some hopefully turning out nice things to the bases:

The problems you always have with the metal miniatures are how to fix the stuff together. After heavy glueing I am finally at the stage to have something ready to present:
